"I was just reminded of the beautiful pottery that we purchased from your gallery several years ago. We have two beautiful bowls that we still use all the time. We will be moving to the "Pointe" on Harstine Island in the near future and look forward to visiting your gallery again soon."

"The Harstine Island Gallery is one of the most serene places I've ever visited and the artisan pottery crafted by John Dunlap has an authentic Northwest feel which is very different from the mass-production items one normally finds anymore. The items we've gathered over the years are the best quality pottery I've ever purchased and are a welcome addition to our home!"

"Ernie and I have been enjoying plates and bowls, all in a variety of sizes, from the Harstine Island Gallery for over a decade. The pieces are beautifully crafted, the images are unique and the colors rich. In addition to our pottery, the Gallery is a fabulous place to shop for gifts, whether for a wedding or a birthday. The drive to the Harstine Island Gallery is lovely and makes for a perfect outing anytime of year. John is a delight and be prepared to discuss any topic under the sun."

"I didn't realize until I began to pack this that this is the thing we own that I value and prize the most.
Our wedding bowl... It was neat to see how the sands were so well blended together and how with each move, they will continue to blend further. What a nice metaphor.

I also got to hold each rock in my hand as I placed it in a bag. It was like a very touching goodbye to our community. It was also nice to rediscover the tree below everything!

This bowl means more to me than the photographs.

It is just special and beautiful."
